Here’s a DIY hot fudge sauce that you’ll want to put on everything.

2/3 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
7 ounces dark chocolate (2 standard bars), chopped
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a heavy bottomed saucepan, bring the cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and half of the chocolate to a low boil for 5 minutes, stirring carefully. Remove from heat and add remaining chocolate, butter, and vanilla mixing thoroughly. Allow to cool for 30-45 minutes before serving.
Any remaining sauce (unlikely scenario) can be stored in an airtight glass jar for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Reheat sauce in a pan of hot water or microwave to serve warm if desired.
