Move over robots... In this class you will learn how a 3D printer, typically used to print plastics, can be used in a new format – to design and create chocolate treats. Using delicious European chocolates, you will have an opportunity to watch the process from start-to-finish, and sample chocolates right out of the printer!

Does tempering chocolate seem terribly intimidating? Have you ever tried molding your own chocolate bars to find it’s not as easy as it looks? Are online videos just not doing the trick? This in-depth workshop will explain how and why one must accomplish this necessary step when making chocolate. An expert chocolatier will demonstrate and discuss the different methods for tempering chocolate: seeding, tabling, and microwave. All your questions about how to create perfect chocolate bars with be answered, making chocolate tempering a snap for you. A delicious mix of science and skill, this class is great for chocolate enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Holy Molé! Learn to Make Tamales

In this class, you will deep-dive into the world of molé, teaching you the true roots of this time-honored culinary tradition. Contrary to popular belief, molé is not exclusive to Mexican cuisine, and there are many different variations of this beloved sauce to be discovered. The class will cover the types of wrappers used, a plethora of filling ideas, techniques on rolling, how to store, cook, and serve delicious homemade tamales. And of course, you will taste a variety of tamales throughout this lively gastronomic journey.

Perfect for those who want to refine their chocolate palate, or who simply love exploring the different flavors chocolate has to offer. This class will take you on a journey through Africa, which produces more cocoa than anywhere else in the world! Led by Kristy Leissle, cocoa industry expert, author, and educator, in this workshop you will learn how to truly experience the different flavors and nuances found in origins across the continent. You will have an opportunity to sample and compare single origin chocolates from a variety of countries in Africa.
